Guyana Amazon Warriors Team News & Playing 11
GAW Team News
Afghan legspinner Rashid Khan will be a big miss for Guyana Amazon Warriors, who have turned to veteran Imran Tahir to replace him this year. Shoaib Malik will captain the team, having moved from Barbados Tridents.

GAW Key Players
Imran Tahir has flown out to the Caribbean on the back of some excellent performances in the English t20 Blast, where he twice claimed four-wicket hauls and took 15 wickets in eight games in all.

He joins a spin bowling attack that already boasts Sohail Tanvir, the leading wicket taker in last year's competition with 17 in 12 games, at an average of 18.52. That includes his phenomenal five wickets for three runs (from his full four overs) in the win in Barbados - a spell which included 22 dot balls.

Chadwick Walton was the leading run scorer in last year's CPL with 458 runs, and he will partner Luke Ronchi - who was a late arrival last time out - for the full competition this year. Ronchi was a key man as Islamabad United won the Pakistan Super League earlier in 2018, top scoring with 435 runs - including five half-centuries.

He failed to fire in the recent Global T20 Canada, but fellow Guyana batsman Sherfane Rutherford starts the new Caribbean Premier League campaign on the back of scoring 134* in the play-offs of the competition for the CWI B Team against Vancouver. Also in good form with the bat is Shimron Hetmyer, who scored 207 runs in the three ODIs against Bangladesh last month.

GAW Team Form
Guyana Amazon Warriors finished fourth in the league stage of last season's Caribbean Premier League, with five wins and five defeats from their ten games - the win against Barbados Tridents, where they bowled the hosts out for 59 in a 99-run victory - proved crucial as they finished two points clear of the Bajans.

In the play-offs, Rashid Khan took a hat-trick to help restrict Jamaica Tallawahs to 168/8, before Luke Ronchi's 33-ball 70 helped fire the Warriors to a five-wicket win.

That set-up a qualifier against Trinbago Knight Riders, but their score of 159/6 proved under-par - Colin Munro leading the Knight Riders home with two overs to spare.

Guyana Amazon Warriors Predicted Playing 11

St Kitts & Nevis Team News & Playing 11
SNP Team News
Mohammad Nabi’s unavailability has seen the Patriots turn to another associate nation’s rising star – teenage Nepalese legspinner Sandeep Lamichhane. He is only available for half of the tournament and so will almost definitely start the first game. Evin Lewis’ poor form with the bat is unlikely to see the Patriots break up their opening pair of Lewis and captain Chris Gayle. Indeed, this could be Lewis’ chance to play his way back into form.

SNP Key Players
Chris Gayle and Evin Lewis were in explosive form at the top of the order in last season’s competition, scoring 375 and 355 runs respectively – Gayle edging Lewis with four half-centuries to his opening partner’s three.

Lewis form has dried up a little lately, but he did hit 58 against the ICC World XI at the end of May and opened the Global T20 Canada with 96 against Toronto. Gayle, on the other hand, arrives fresh from scoring 73 for West Indies in the final ODI against Bangladesh.

With Mohammad Nabi unavailable, Sandeep Lamichhane will be a crucial part of their bowling attack in the early part of the tournament. He took 3/41 in his most recent match – Nepal’s dramatic one-run win in an ODI against the Netherlands. The Nepalese spinner also took eight wickets in five games in the Global T20 Canada.

West Indies’ World T20 hero Carlos Braithwaite is another key part of the bowling attack, alongside his big-hitting with the bat. Fresh from a stint with Kent, he took nine wickets in his five games in the English t20 Blast.

SNP Team Form
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots finished second in last year’s Caribbean Premier League – the same position they finished in the league stage. The Patriots won six of their ten games, losing three and seeing one rained off.

In the play-offs, however, they beat table-topping Trinbago Knight Riders as Chris Gayle hit an unbeaten half-century as the Patriots posted 149/7. In reply, the Knight Riders succumbed to Sheldon Cottrell’s 3-17 and economical bowling throughout the team as they finished 111 all out.

The Knight Riders eventually set up a re-match in the final, but the Patriots could not repeat their performance. Carlos Braithwaite’s late hitting helped them to 135/6 but the Knight Riders chased it down with an over to spare.

St Kitts & Nevis Predicted Playing 11
Chris Gayle, Evin Lewis, Brandon King, Mahmadullah, Tom Cooper, Devon Thomas, Carlos Braithwaite, Ben Cutting, Sheldon Cottrell, Sandeep Lamichanne, Jeremiah Louis

GAW vs SNP Head to Head
Guyana Amazon Warriors and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots have met six time in all, with the Warriors winning the first four but losing both last time out. In the first of those games – both of which were played in Florida at the star of the tournament – Chadwick Walton posted 60 in a total of 123/7 and Carlos Braithwaite’s 19-ball 31 helped the Patriots home with four wickets and one over to spare.

In the second game, the following day, St Kitts and Nevis scored 132/3, thanks to an unbeaten 66 from 55 balls by Chris Gayle. Sheldon Cottrell, who claimed 2-18 in the first game, took 2-28 this time out, however, as the Warriors fell four runs short despite Jason Mohammed’s run-a-ball 41.

West indies vs Bangladesh 2nd ODI Prediction & Toss Prediction | playing XI

Who Will Win Bangladesh vs West Indies 2nd ODI?
Bangladesh stunned the West Indies at the Providence Stadium in Guyana to win the opening ODI by 48 runs and take a 1-0 lead in the three-game series. The hosts will now look to bounce back when they face the visitors in the second one-day international at the same venue. The match is scheduled to be played on July 25 with live telecast to begin at 2:30 PM local time.

Toss Prediction
The Providence Stadium has now hosted 20 one-day internationals out of which 12 have been won by the side batting first. In the last game as well, Bangladesh elected to bat first and ended up winners by a handsome margin. So toss is going to be a key factor here and whichever team wins it is more likely to bat first.

West Indies Team News & Playing 11
WI Team News
No West Indian player was reported to be injured at the time of writing. The hosts, despite the defeat in the first one-day international, are expected to come up with the same line-up. Keemo Paul and Kieran Powell are waiting in the reserves but they may have to wait a little longer for their turn.

WI Key Players
Chris Gayle is the second-highest run-getter for the West Indies in ODIs as well as the second-highest run-getter for the side at this ground in this format. The opener looked good in his knock of 40 in the last game and he is the key man in this batting line-up. His partner Evin Lewis too is a very dangerous batsman in limited-overs cricket. Shimron Hetmyer is coming off a fifty while Andre Russell is a big-hitter down the order.

Devendra Bishoo was the pick of the bowlers last time with figures of 2 for 52 from 10 overs and the hosts will want the leg-spinner to keep up the good work. Jason Holder, the skipper, now has nine ODI wickets from eight matches at this ground while Ashley Nurse has six from four. The latter bowled a miserly spell on Sunday and he will again look to strangle the Bangladeshi batsmen with his off-spin.

WI Recent Form
The 48-run loss in the last game was West Indies' third defeat in the eight one-day internationals they have played so far this year. Their effort with the ball was acceptable but they were below par with the bat as they could only manage 231/9 in reply to Bangladesh's 279/4. The hosts kept losing wickets at regular intervals and this is something that they will have to take care of going into the second ODI.

West Indies Predicted Playing 11
Chris Gayle, Evin Lewis, Shai Hope (wk), Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Mohammed, Jason Holder (c), Rovman Powell, Andre Russell, Ashley Nurse, Devendra Bishoo, Alzarri Joseph

Bangladesh Team News & Playing 11
BAN Team News
Bangladesh are unlikely to fiddle with their line-up after that convincing victory in the opening encounter of the series. Anamul Haque is likely to open the batting once again alongside Tamim Iqbal with Shakib Al Hasan to follow at number three. Mashrafe Mortaza and Rubel Hossain will probably spearhead the bowling attack with the new ball.

BAN Key Players
Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan, the top two ODI run-scorers for Bangladesh, starred with the bat on Sunday. While the former anchored the innings with an unbeaten 130, the latter scored three runs short of a century to stitch a massive 207-run partnership between themselves. Mushfiqur Rahim looked solid in his 11-ball 30 and he had also smashed 75 not-out in the practice match. These three batsmen will hold the key to the team's batting once again.

Mashrafe Mortaza is the bowler to watch out for. The skipper is Bangladesh's leading wicket-taker in ODIs and his four-wicket haul played a big role in his side's 48-run win. He together with Mustafizur Rahman who took 2 for 35 from eight overs are the main threats in this pace attack. Among the spinners, Shakib with 235 wickets to his name is more likely to trouble the West Indian batsmen.

BAN Recent Form
Bangladesh have registered their fourth win in the six one-day internationals they have played this year. After losing back-to-back matches against Sri Lanka in the tri-nation series that also featured Zimbabwe and after the bashing they received in the tests, they came into this series as huge underdogs but surprised everyone with their outstanding performance in the first ODI. The visitors read the conditions well and made better use of them than the Windies could.

Bangladesh Predicted Playing 11
Tamim Iqbal, Anamul Haque, Shakib Al Hasan, Sabbir Rahman, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Mahmudullah, Mosaddek Hossain, Mehidy Hasan, Mashrafe Mortaza (c), Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman
